Hello, happy Spring! I hope everyone is doing amazing! As you saw a couple of weeks ago on my social media I went in for my FIRST EVER hydra facial (video of the process HERE in case you missed it)! How is that possible? I had never had one done and now I don’t think I can stop!
You know I love CosmetiCare and I trust them very much, they did my laser hair removal treatment last year, if you haven’t read that post I will link it HERE. I have been wanting to do a facial for a very long time, some though, have a bit of downtime due to peeling. Since I am extremely busy this season I knew I couldn’t do anything that would take time to heal. I still want to do something like that but right now it’s just not the right time.

I opted for a hydra facial with a couple of add-ons, I was interested in dermal planing, the act of removing all dead skin and hair from your face with a sharp razor like tool, I know it sounds kind of scary but I knew I was in good hands with Jess. I also have been obsessed with the benefits of red light therapy on the face and body, they now offer that and have an amazing machine I knew I wanted to try out!
It is now two weeks later and my skin is still glowing and beautiful, this may become a monthly ritual for me because I never want to be without glowing skin! The results were instant and quite amazing actually, my face was glowing and felt very hydrated, the lack of dry skin and little hairs made me feel so smooth quite like a babies bottom. I seriously don’t think my face has ever been this smooth in my entire life!
The experience was extremely pleasant and Jess explained everything along the way. First she cleansed my skin very well and then started on the dermal planing. After my skin was free of all hair and old dry skin she did a little extraction on any blemishes I had. She has a really cool suction tool that gets rid of debris that is stuck in your pores. By this point my skin already felt very clean! Then Jess ran this really cool high frequency tool around my face to kill bacteria under the skin and help with any swelling or redness from the extractions. This was followed by A custom booster, hydration and finally an LED light panel.
To say I’m obsessed with the process and results would be an understatement! I highly recommend CosmetiCare for all of your facial needs!
