Bareminerals Bareskin Liquid Foundation Review

IMG_6001

When I hear Bareminerals, what comes to mind is finely milled powder foundations. While this type of foundation is the original item the company is known for, a while back they launched the “ready” foundations, powder foundation in a travel friendly compact. Now, fast forward a bit, and they have hit the market hard with something we never saw coming, a liquid version of their all natural foundation. Now, weather you are a liquid or powder girl, they have something to please both crowds. I love this brand because they evolve, but not when others think they should, but when they have a product that fits their high standards.

If you watch me on YouTube, you know I am a powder girl, so when I decided to give this liquid foundation a try I wasn’t sure how I would feel. I tried it for the first time using only the special brush they released with this makeup, as I kept using this product though, I realized my favorite method was going to be applying the product with my clean hands and then adding a bit more to the center of the brush and buffing it into my skin from there. It evens out skin tone but is not too heavy, if you need more coverage you may need to add more to certain spots or pair this foundation with their concealer. I am loving the shade assortment, just for reference I am between a 9 and 10 and have medium skin tone with yellow undertones. As a sidenote, this formula is very much a liquid, not thick at all, but quite runny.

So, there you have it, if you have been avoiding Bareminerals because you are a liquid foundation lover, now you have no excuse! Give this product a shot and go get color matched at your local ULTA or Sephora, I would go to Sephora if you want to take a sample home to try first though. Have a great day lovelies!
