When it comes to high end fashion I’m not easily enamored. I am inspired by images, but I don’t envision myself wearing the latest runway fashions most of the time…the only exception? Dolce & Gabanna, the ad visuals, I’m talking Italian country sides and ocean scenes, beautiful people, impeccable makeup and sheer passion on all their faces is enough to make me drool. The exquisite laces and embroidered tapestry fabrics, paired with classic cuts are simply the very best in my opinion. I can easily put myself there, in the clothes, but since I have a WAY smaller budget, I tend to lean towards similar pieces that cost a lot less. They give the same effect in a regular every day setting, so when I saw this top at Forever21 I snagged it right up. Lace and embroidery? What more could a Dolce & Gabanna lover on a budget ask for?
