My Vintage Glams Palette By Lauren Luke Review & Swatches

IMG_3375

I have a review today on a palette by Lauren Luke she is a beauty lover a You tuber. She was able to create a line of makeup as well, how exiting that must of been. A dream come true I’m sure!

This palette called “My Vintage Glams” it is selling for around $25 and was sent to me from my pals over at FragranceNet.com, if you are not familiar with them, check out this post. I am also working with them on a $50 Gift Card Giveaway. You could use your card to get this a palette and then some! Instructions on how to enter are below.

This is what the palette looks like out of it’s packaging. It is thick black cardboard with a magnet closure, has a generous mirror, and it also came with a gloss.

A sweet little note from Lauren 🙂IMG_3407

I found it interesting because it is an “All in one” type of palette. Some love this, some don’t, for me it depends on if I like all the products in the palette…how about you?

It comes with 3 eyeshadows, one of then is quite bigger than the others, I’m not sure why, maybe it could also be used a a highlight?

The color swatches from left to right are “Red Wine” (which is more of a purple), “Silver Slippers” (a true light silver) and “Petticoat Pink” (a champagne pink).

The next three swatches from left to right are the blush and 2 lipsticks. The blush in “Berry Cream” is very pigmented and beautiful. The lipstick in “Champagne Kiss” is a true metallic champagne and the lipstick in ” Love Bite” is a berry metallic.

This palette come with a black gel eyeliner in “Raven Black” and two shades of eye primer a medium (Nude Slip Dark) and light(Nude Slip Light). It also has a tube of lipgloss, it looks pink in the tube but comes out clear with no sparkles or glitter just good ol shine, which I love, and it smells a bit like flowers.

My final thoughts on this palette are, if you like the all in one palettes you will love it.  It would be great to travel with. If you like having separate products or need more than three eyeshadows a your disposal you may or may not like it.

I will also say it is amazing to see someone who loves beauty as much as I do fulfill a dream like creating her own makeup line. Congrats Lauren!

  1. This palette looks lovely, the colours are amazing! Hmm when it’s an all in one palette I find that I tend to forget about the lip colours, as I would need to reapply them throughout the day and I can never be bothered bringing around a whole palette with me lol! But this looks reasonably sized 🙂 Great review!

That sounds reasonable, I think that is why the palette came with a gloss to take with you. They thought of everything!
