L’Occitane Sublime BB Cream & Skin Perfector Review + Swatches

IMG_6159

For someone like me with sensitive skin a brand like L’Occitane is a must. It is full of natural and good for you ingredients but still smells like a summer breeze. I received these items to review and today I will tell you what I thought.

First up is the skin perfector, it is a light serum meant for under your moisturizer. It improves skin texture and reduces pore size. It smells floral and the smell is pronounced so if you do not like fragrance this may bother you, but I am sensitive to fragrance and my skin still loves this product.

Here it is slightly sheered out. You will need a good amount, because a little does not go a long way

Here is the swatch completely sheered out, as you can see it absorbs very well and leaves no shine.

Onto the BB cream, I am the shade Medium. I love how this applies and how it smells, also floral. It dries matte and does not oxidize, I also love the 30 SPF.

Here it is sheered a bit, can you see the creamy texture?

This is the same swatch completely sheered, the inside of my arm is lighter than my face so you can really see the color. Like I said it dries matte but if you are like me and have combination skin I would suggest a powder to set your T-zone

I have been wearing this for a bit to test it out, so here is a picture of how it looks on. All in all I love both products!

Wouahhh! very nice products…I want absolutely both of them but because of my allergies I don’t know if I can buy it or not!

Could you send me a picture of the ingredient list (ESSENCE SUBLIME & SUBLIME BEAUTY CREAM) to know if it’s safe or not for my skin please…it should be very nice of you…

Hi Sophie! I understand I have very sensitive skin also! I will send you direct links to both products, so you can see all the ingredients 🙂

  2. Hi
It seems like a great product, but would you recommend it for really oily skin?
Also, how dark is the medium, i ask cause by seeing the pictures i don’t think i have exactly your skintone, but a little lighter. What would be better, to buy the medium one and have a darker face than your neck (could powder help even the tone), or buying the lighter shade and having my face looking lighter than my neck (again, applying powder afterwards)

You have a truly amazing site and your DIYs are really awesome

    Thank you for your time

Hi there! I have combo skin, so I recommend priming any oily areas before applying this product. Powder will not do much for color correcting if the base is too dark, if you are lighter than me go 1 shade down then add bronzer over the top to match your neck (around the perimeter of your face & on your cheekbones) this will offer a lightness to the center of your face withought the need to contour. Hope tis helps & thanks for reading! XO

  3. Hi

Does the sublime essence serum brighten the skin? I wanted to know before purchasing it 🙂 i’m doing blog-hopping to see if this product’s worth every penny. Thank you.

I love your make up. Simple chic and not too much like some people.

  4. Hello, I’m thinking of treating my lovely big face to a new moisturiser. I don’t mind spending a bit of money, if it’s good. Was wondering if L’Occitane products are good? Can anyone recommend a nice moisturiser to use (bearing in mind that i probably have tried most other brands!) Thanks x
